Neil founded hedspace following a very broad career in the creative industry.

At 24 he had established a design company which quickly grew to 9 designers, 15 major clients and excess of £1million turnover. He sold this to one of his clients which desperately needed a fully functioning design studio that delivered consistent quality which also relieved him of the administration, enabling him to ‘get-on’ with the design and creativity he loves so much.

He worked for The Cobra Group for 11 years growing the creative department to 21 staff across multiple disciplines. During this time he supplied creative services to over 300 businesses that are aligned with The Cobra Group, stepping away to start hedspace, and still consults for The Cobra Group in their current creative requirements.Neil really does have a broad background in all aspects of commercial creative work, providing oversight on all things print, web, digital, events, apps, music, video, photographic and marketing. Each aspect bringing its own challenges and needing expert understanding.

As a creative director, his passion is for finding innovation and creative solutions for his clients and leading teams to answer those challenges. “I believe in inspiring individuals in design enabling them to think for themselves and become a functional part of the design team process. This includes the clients who are experts in their own business and enable us to provide solutions that are appropriate and ‘on the money’. I believe that stimulated and positive teams achieve incredible results, which I have shown in managing and leading my design teams.”
